There are three novels and three motivational texts on the table so we have six books ~all together~ (nonstandard).
There are three novels and three motivational texts on the table so we have six books *altogether* (standard).
Altogether is an adverb meaning completely, in total, or all things considered.

Put the books ~altogether~ on the table (nonstandard).
Put the books *all together* on the table (standard).
“All together” (two words) means a group of people or things in one place at the same time.

It is not *altogether* bad to have the books put *all together* in the bag. ✅
