SNOB or SNUB?
Everyone thinks he is a a ~snub~ (nonstandard).
Everyone thinks he is a snob (standard).
Snob is a noun, and a snob is a person who thinks they are better than other people. This feeling usually comes from having more money, a higher social class, or a special skill.
They clearly ~snob~ others when they come around (nonstandard).
They clearly *snub* others when they come around (standard).
Snub is a verb and if you snub someone, you deliberately insult them by ignoring them or by behaving or speaking rudely towards them.
