JOG or JUG?
We need a new ~jog~ in this office (nonstandard).
We need a new *jug* in this office (standard).
A jug is a cylindrical container with a handle and is used for holding and pouring liquids.
Jug as a verb means to put into a jug or to stew (something, such as a hare) in an earthenware vessel.
He likes to ~jug~ every morning (nonstandard).
He likes to *jog* every morning (standard).
If you jog, you run slowly, often as a form of exercise. The word can also be used as a noun:
He is known for his early morning *jog*. ✅
