Three behaviours of letter w and sound /w/
1. Some words have letter w that realises sound /w/: winner, word, wish, away,
2. Some words have letter w but do not have /w/ sound: vow, vowel, bow, bowel, towel, tower.
3. Some words don’t have letter w but they have the sound /w/:
One /wʌn/
Queen /kwiːn/
Suite /swiːt/
Linguist /ˈlɪŋɡwɪst/
