Deceiving Letters

  1. The f in of is pronounced /v/.
  2. The ar in dwarf is pronounced like the “or” in port.
  3. The au in caucus is also pronounced like the “or” in port.

  • I will like to have better clarifications on /ə/ and /ʌ/ sounds, most especially on the aspects of their pronunciations. The technique and logic behind their better recognition in words.
