EVERY DAY or EVERYDAY?
He visits the university ~everyday~ (nonstandard).
He visits the university *every day* (standard).
As two words, “every day” is an adverb of frequency which is used to mean “daily” or “on a daily basis”. It can also be used as a noun phrase:
~Everyday~, you must see me before leaving this house (nonstandard).
*Every day*, you must see before leaving this house (standard).
This is my ~every day~ life (nonstandard).
This is my *everyday* life (standard).
Everyday (one word) is an adjective that means ordinary, normal, or routine.
