CAPITALISATION

*He* has not done this in weeks (standard).
Consciously begin every sentence with a capital letter. Note that a new sentence starts after a full stop, question mark or exclamation mark.
Do you know ~lasu~ is the most-sought after university in Nigeria (nonstandard)?
Do you know *LASU* is the most-sought after university in Nigeria (standard)?
The capital letter is used when writing the acronyms of instititions.
She screamed “~today~ is my happiest day on earth” (nonstandard).
She screamed “*Today* is my happiest day on earth” (standard).
You should capitalise the first letter in a quote if the quote is a complete sentence.
