VENERABLE or VULNERABLE?

She has worked with ~vulnerable~ institutions that we considered it an honour to have her here (nonstandard).
She has worked with *venerable* institutions that we considered it an honour to have her here (standard).
A venerable person or institution deserves respect because they are old, wise or respected.

She cries so easily so her friends say she’s ~venerable~ (nonstandard).
She cries so easily so her friends say she’s *vulnerable* (standard).
Someone who is vulnerable is weak and without protection, with the result that they are easily hurt physically or emotionally.
