ROUND OFF or ROUND UP?

We will ~round up~ the meal with a bowl of ice cream (nonstandard).
We will *round off* the meal with a bowl of ice cream (standard).
We will *round out* the meal with a bowl of ice cream (standard; American).
If you round off/out an activity with something, you end the activity by doing something that provides a clear or satisfactory conclusion to it.

The police ~rounded off~ a number of suspects (nonstandard).
The police *rounded up* a number of suspects (standard).
If the police or army round up a number of people, they arrest or capture them.
