PREPOSITIONS

Many young people now ~dabble into~ politics (nonstandard).

If you dabble in something, you take part in it but not very seriously.

This place does not seem ~conducive for~ learning (standard).
This place doesn’t seem *conducive to* learning (standard).
If one thing is conducive to another thing, it makes the other thing likely to happen.

We need to ~sensitise them on~ the importance of savings (nonstandard).
We need to *sensitise them to* the importance of savings (standard).
If you sensitise people to a particular problem or situation, you make them aware of it.
