MISPRONUNCIATION

We got some ~red made~ gowns (nonstandard).
We got some *ready-made* gowns (standard).
If something that you buy is ready-made, you can use it immediately, because the work you would normally have to do has already been done.

He got himself a ~brown new~ car just yesterday (nonstandard).
He got himself a *brand-new* car just yesterday (standard).
A brand-new object is completely new.

Nobody really likes a ~second-handed~ car (nonstandard).
Nobody really likes a *second-hand* car (standard).
Second-hand things are not new and have been owned by someone else.
