HAIL or HALE?
May you remain ~hail~ and hearty (nonstandard).
MY you remain *hale* and hearty (standard).
If you describe people, especially people who are old, as hale, you mean that they are healthy.
We should ~hale~ him for all he does (nonstandard).
We should *hail* him for all he does (standard).
If a person, event, or achievement is hailed as important or successful, they are praised publicly.
