Your trousers *are* nice. Where did you get *them* (standard)?
Nouns in pairs such as pliers, glasses, slippers etc attract plural verbs and plural pronouns. More examples:
~This pliers is~ not good. Drop ~it~ there. ❌
*These pliers are* not good. Drop *them* there. ✅

Note, however, that when units of quantification such as “pair of” are used, the verb would be singular:
*This pair of pliers is* not good. Drop *it* there. ✅
