QUITE and QUIET: Mind the difference
This is ~quiet~ unbelievable (nonstandard).
This is *quite* unbelievable (standard).
You use quite’ to indicate that something is the case to a fairly great extent. Quite is less emphatic than ‘very’ and ‘ extremely’.
She is such a ~quite~ person (nonstandard).
She is such a *quiet* person (standard).
Someone or something that is quiet makes only a small amount of noise.
