Did you sleep like a log of wood?
The bed was so comfortable so I ~slept like a log of wood~ (nonstandard).
The bed was so comfortable so I *slept like a log* (standard).
To sleep like a log is to sleep very well, without being woken by any noises. A log itself is a a thick piece of tree trunk or branch (wood), especially one cut for burning on a fire.
The idiom can also be expressed as “sleep like a baby”.
