My brother was my *godsend* when I had to travel (standard).
If you describe someone or something as a godsend, you are emphasising that they help(ed) you very much. However, “godsent” can be used to qualify a noun:
That was a godsent a rain. ✅
I think she is ~a talkative~ (nonstandard).
I think she is *talkative* (standard).
I think she is *a talkative person* (standard).
The word, talkative, is an adjective. While someone might be talkative (as if to say happy), someone cannot be a talkative (as if to say someone is a happy).
He is such a ~coward person~ (nonstandard).
He is such a *cowardly person* (standard).
He is such *a coward* (standard).
“Coward” is a noun and the adjectival form is “cowardly”. If you describe someone as cowardly, you disapprove of them because they are easily frightened and avoid doing dangerous and difficult things.
