JINKS or JINX?

We had a nice moment with all kinds of high ~jinx~ (nonstandard).
We had a nice moment with all kinds of high *jinks* (standard). The word, jinks, is used to refer to lively and playful activities.

This computer has crashed twice today; I’ll guess there’s a ~jinks~ on it (nonstandard).

You can call something or someone that is considered to be unlucky or to bring bad luck a jinx.
