A TOUT or A LOUT?
There are very many ~touts~ around here (nonstandard).
There are very many *area boys* around here (Nigerian English).
There are very many *louts* around here (standard).
If you describe someone as a lout, you are critical of them because they behave in an impolite or aggressive way.
Avoid dealing with ~ticket boys~ (nonstandard).
Avoid dealing with *touts* (standard).
A tout is someone who sells things such as tickets unofficially, usually at prices which are higher than the official ones.
