PRIZE or PRICE?
You have to come to the office to claim your ~price~ (nonstandard).
You have to come to the office to claim *prize* (standard).
A prize is money or something valuable that is given to someone who has the best results in a competition or game, or as a reward for doing good work.
There was an increase in the ~prize~ of petrol (nonstandard).
There was an increase in the *price* of petrol (standard). The price of something is the amount of money that you have to pay in order to buy it.
Note that while “prize” has the /z/ sound, /praɪz/, “price” has the /s/ sound, /praɪs/.
Consistency is the *price* you have to pay to enjoy the *prize* of your endeavour.
