The crew ~consists~ five members (nonstandard).
The crew consists of five members (standard).
The crew ~comprises of~ five members (nonstandard).
The crew comprises five members (standard).
Note, however, that “comprise” can attract the preposition “of” when it is used in a passive sentence:
The crew is comprised of five members. ✔️
