WRONG USE OF PREPOSITIONS
I’ll be at the ~send forth~ tomorrow (nonstandard).
I’ll be at the send-off tomorrow (standard). A celebratory demonstration of goodwill at a person’s departure is a send-off. “Send forth” is a phrasal verb which means to cause something to be heard or to cause a thing to move outward from a source:
He sent forth a loud cry when he was injected. ✔️
The auditorium sent forth an unusual fragrance and a relaxed ambience. ✔️
He wrote me a cheque ~of~ £50 (nonstandard).
He wrote me a cheque for £50 (standard).
He repented ~from~ his sins before he died (nonstandard).
He repented of his sins before he died (standard).
