He is a ~salary~ worker (nonstandard).
He is a salaried worker (standard). An employee being paid a fixed amount or compensation by an employer is a salaried worker.

I like ~flower~ curtains (nonstandard).
I love flowered curtains (standard).

I need a ~foldable~ chair (nonstandard).
I need a folding chair (standard).
