Be, Been, Being
Be is the base form and can be used in different ways:
Be good to people.
He should be here soon.
Would you love to be involved?
Been is the perfective form which indicates what has been done or what would have been done at a time in the future and it is used with any of has, have and had:
He has been here for a while.
They have been scheduled for tomorrow.
He had been involved before we knew.
Being is the progressive form which indicates an action which was, is or will be continuing and it is used with any of is, am, are, was, were:
He is being naughty.
They are being advised by the president.
He was being involved in something dangerous.
