ARE YOU HAGGLING OR ARGUING?
To argue is to give reasons or cite evidence in support of an idea, action, or theory, typically with the aim of persuading others to share one’s view: Scholars argue that poor funding critically affects the quality of education in Nigeria.
To haggle is to dispute or bargain persistently, especially over the cost of something: It is only normal to haggle over the price of goods and services before getting them.
